Essie Eternal Optimist

I hate having a day off at the weekend and having nothing to do , makes my life seem really dull , so I've had a cheeky power nap with the puppy and now I am currently catching up on Cherry Healey How To Get A Life episodes I've missed over the past few weeks and I've stripped and repainted my nails , they were looking a tad rank .  Take a look at them now . 

As we all know Boots became a stockist of the guilty pleasure polishes by Essie and this was the first one I brought , my first ever full size Essie nail varnish . I've had it a month or two now but just hadn't gotten round to showing it to you .

It's so prettyful . . . The colour is best described as a dusky dirty pink shade , no glitter but looks super with sparkly coat over the top . I love the Essie bottle brushes , the corners are curved for that quick easy application and no mess . I find , like with the other Essies polishes , the polish doesn't chip away , it tends to wears at the edges . Perfect polishes which ever shade you choose .

Free Leighton Denny With Bazaar

Freebie alert With Harper's Bazaar this month is a free full size Leighton Denny nail varnish . There were three shades available as far as I could see . Harper's Bazaar is £4.20 and the polishes rrp at £11+ , bargain . I grabbed the magazine with the 'Supermodel' inside . It is a super glossy chocolate milky colour and is stylish , muted and nude for when ever you like , would be cute with a gold tip .  I love it . . . end of .

Don't Steal My Limelight

 OPI Rainbow Collection / Essie Funky Limelight 

You'll of seen this glitter polish before (load of times) It's the glittery OPI Rainbow collection polish and I love it . . . I use it 90% of the time on my nails , it's my second bottle so far . I whack it on top of most of my polishes to make them sparkle . I have a few posts using this so if you back log you can see them . Anyway I put these two fitties together and boom ^^^this^^^ is what you get . I purchased the sexy little neon from eBay last week . Sadly it was a mini from a previous mini collection so it's only gonna last like five minutes . I am gonna get on a hunt for some neons , you can get neon greeny yellows all over the place and I am dying to get hold of a pink . Anyone have any to recommend ?

NakedGlitter

A simple little post showing you my weekend nails , prettyful huh . I got asked how long it took me to do these . . . 5 minutes easy , but hott . So it's a strengthening coat to begin as my nails are flaky and weak after years of acyclic abuse . A nude basis coat because it's bang on trend . Then a glitter to attract the eye then a glassy top coat to finish everything off . Done and that's it .  Hope your all okieee and Happy Tuesday !

I just had to share these with you ! I ordered them the other day after seeing them on Effies blog . I went straight to eBay and purchased myself the cute little pug design . So with much excitement they came in the post a few days later and I was well away . I could not believe how easy these were to apply to the nail . All you have to do is trim around the picture , peel from the card then stick on the nail . Fix with a shiney top coat and your good to go .

Topshop Adrenalin

Ooh this Topshop nail polish is sooo pretty , like super pretty . . . It's so sparkly ! Aww all the glitter . It is the first nail polish I have brought from Topshop as none had really ever caught my eye before but when I saw this one online I ordered it straight away , which was really lucky because it was an instant sell out ! I am a super sucker for glittery things , it's like having magic fingers . You can now see why it sold out so quickly . Glitter Sparkly Glitter . It is jam packed with differend fecks of glitter bits . I applied three thin coats and a top coat to seal it . I saw that it was available in a few stores so you can still pick it up if you are quick . Be quick or keep your eyes online .

Rimmel's Disco Gold

My nails have taken a real hit this month , with almost all of them breaking . So now they are looking a little stumpy , damn you acrylic nails ! It is treat time . The two Rimmel vanishes you'll see here are what I picked up the other day . . . the pastel greeny blue is 500 Peppermint and the gorgeous glitter infested one is a glitter topcoat 002 Disco Gold . Layered together they look so pretty , which is exactly what I brought them for . I love them , I love them , I love them . I think the Disco Gold would go really well over the top of any colour because its so cute and unlike other glitter vanished , I only needed to apply one coat to get the full effect of the glitter flecks . It is worth buying to get adventurous and see which colours you'd like to pair this sparkling varnish with . Applying this over the top can make you love a colour you originally hated .

* Out of all the glitter polishes I own this has to be the easiest to remove with nail vanish remover . I am sure you'll be aware if you use polish with high volumes of glitter in it that when I comes to removal it can be a chore because the flecks of glitter just don't want to budge . . . So thank you for this one Rimmel *
