I had to show you guys this sale bargain cheap lippy I nabbed from the Jack Wills sale for £2 ! Two  freaking quid ! Can I grubble . . . err nop . I would of had more but there was nothing left that took me fancy . This particular one is shade SweetPea . It's a coraly powder pink . . . It reminds me of the MAC Viva Glam Nicki that is out at the moment but a little less neon . It's got staying power and it's glossy smooth . I wouldn't say Wills are known for their make up range but I was more than impressed with this beaut .  If you see any left in stores , swatch away and get a bargain . End of , great sale catch from Jack Wills .

MAC Lazy Sunday

I got my MAC fix this week while out in Cambridge for a little day trip with my better-half . We had a lovely day planned out but then rain dampened everything . I wanted to adventure around the city but in the end we stuck to the dry Grand Arcade shopping centre , which  was rather impressive and worth a visit . Anyway , Cambridge has a tiny winy MAC store , adjoining John Lewis , I just 'popped' in while passing by and grabbed this little treat for myself . It is from the new Casual Colours collection , all lovely products but not all for me . There are seven other shades to choose from , this one was my fave so in my bag it went . Lazy Sunday is a typical Baby Pink , all bubblegum and sweet . It's a super multi tasker , it can be used as either a cheeky lip colour or a yummy blush or both . Aww 2 in 1 , perfect for your make up bag . . . Thank you MAC !

Pretty Please

And you are all like nooooo not another Mac post . . . well I'm hitting you with another lipstick post : ] because they are so beautiful and your lips deserve the best you can get ! So I was in Norwich over the last bank holiday and first port of call was the Mac counter of course , although I'd already made a little order during the week . I was well behaved though and only brought this one thing (only because they didn't have Creme Cup in stock Grr) . I brought the sexual Pretty Please , a lush little Lustre lipstick , with a few blue flecks floating around in there and lots of shimmer . I don't really have many pinks or shimmery ones in fact . It is so cute ! Pretty pink and muted . Simple as that .

Zoom Lash

I brought this a while ago and misplaced the photos and just stumbled cross them again so ta dah I am writing this post for you . I received a little sample of this mascara over the Christmas period and totally fell in love with it , I couldn't wait to buy it full size . I was so excited when I finally brought it from the MAC counter . I had two mascaras to use up first before I started using this one . I don't really have much to say about it to be honest , apart from I now hate it with a passion . Why was they sample better than the actual product ?

Sadly I wouldn't repurchase it because . . .

• The formula is just difficult to apply , as it's a tad thick and sticky
• It takes a while to dry when applied to the lashes so can smudge everywhere 
• It makes me lashes look stumpy and clumpy
• I am just not a fan

A nosey post for you all this evening , because we all love a good rummage through other peoples personal belongings , well I know I sure do . So this is a little peek in my current makeup baggy . Little Genius

I know these have been around for ages but I am not a huge fan of any form of make up sponge because they soak up all your foundation and all the grubby little germs from your face therefore having to be replaced so often , so I had never really bothered picking one up when I saw them . But the other day a college was saying she likes to use her fingers to apply her foundation so that she knows exactly where she is getting it . Even though I use my 187 MAC brush to apply my foundation I still manage to miss the little areas around my nose . All this made me automatically think of these because of it's quirky shape so we had a look around and they rrp for about £15 from MAC and £5 from Cosmopolitan so as always I headed over to eBay and found loads in lots of different shapes and colours for a only a couple of quid mostly from Hong Kong . This is the one I brought . It is so cute ! I don't use it to apply my foundation all over , you are meant to use it to stipple to create a flawless airbrushed finish but I just use it for around my nose and eyes as the tip gets into all those small areas .

For a few quid I think it is definitely worth trying these out , it's always exciting finding a new way to apply your make up .

MAC's Frou & Innocence, Beware!

Wow I just found two MAC lipsticks shoved out of the way amongst all my other lipsticks . I brought these in February/March from my local MAC counter . 1. I have not used these two yet , they are still in their boxes and 2. I still have not blogged on them , ooh the shame , so bam here they are . . . I've swatched them for you so you can see what the colour really looks like , swatches are cool . Yes they are both nudes shades but hey get used to it because I love nudes , it's the easiest colour to wear , end of . So I have . . .

 

Frou . This has a Glaze finish and the colour is really whitey gold/silver , I would not wear this day to day as it is a bit of a going out , date night type of lipstick . I do not own a MAC lippy that really has that much sparkle in it so I grabbed something that was new to me . It is so cute . This is a lipstick permanent stocked by MAC so you can go get it no problem if you like it .

Innocence, Beware! is a Cremesheen , it has a few peachy pink undertones which make the colour pop . I got this because the new CookCook collection came out and I always buy limited collection nudes before they sell out , I am trying to make excuses as to why I have so many nudes , ooh how I do adore them . Anyway this one probably is not one of my top nude shades as it's more peach than an natural looking nude , I like it all the same though .

Mini Haul

Woo nosey post . . . I thought you'd all like to see what I purchased while out in shopping on Saturday . Only a few bits as I was kind of short on funds and should be saving for a house , if you are broke I recommend not going out on to that high street ! There were so many pretty things everywhere , MAC dropped like four collections at the beginning of March and it was all so tempting but I just got what I went in there for . Yes more lipsticks . . . I can hear you all say ooh no not another one ! Eek and not only that , it's another nude one (or two in this case) , Viva Glam Gaga 2 & Innocence, Beware from the ShopShop collection .

As you'll see I picked up a few samples from Chanel because I really want to try Vitalumiere Aqua but want to see if I like it first . I don't no if either of these samples will match because the women just 'guessed' which shade I was , will see how I get on . I'm really looking forward to giving it a try ! Would you recommend any Chanel foundations ? Also picked up a Bobbi Brown foundation sample .

Viva Glam Nicki

Ooh my goodness it is here ! After such a long and hugely teasing wait it is finally here ! The Viva Glam Nicki lipstick . Personal I bloody adore it but I'd probably say that about every MAC lipstick I buy because the lippies are my favourite product from MAC , it is a slight addiction you'd see if you saw my growing collection , I need storage for them because they are currently rolling across my desk . Anyway this Viva Glam before being applied to your lips looks a tad fluorescent and scary if you don't usually wear brighter colours on your face but once it glides on it is far less shocking . Its a pretty Satin finish which leaves your pout looking smoooooth and kissable . Warning though , it stains your lips , totally worth it though .

Story . . . I hit the MAC counter while shopping in Norwich last week to pick up a couple more lipsticks . While at the counter the girl serving me asked it I liked the lipstick she was sporting , to which I replied "yes , which colour is it ?" It was of course the new Viva Glam . I was like that's not out yet to which she was quite rude saying she had one which she was kind of reluctant to show me . Why ask me if you are gonna be such a cow about it ? It was like she was teasing me . I always seem to receive this kind of service at the MAC counter . . . Crap . I go for the product , not the service but that is not the point . Does anyone else get this ?

Mac BeachSand & HoneyLove

Another two lipsticks to add to my expanding collection of Mac Lipsticks , these lipsticks are my very favourite product from Mac ! Lipstick is most probably my favourite product to buy from any brand . I think it is the scent and high pigmented colour that does it for me with Mac . If you have never smelt a Mac lipstick then go into your local Mac counter and smell some , they are so yummy . These are becoming an addiction and as you'll see nudes are my fix . I always head straight for the lipsticks when a new collection comes out . I am like a child at Christmas when at the Mac counter . I love swatching all over my hands , it's something I weirdly adore doing . The way to my heart will always be with a fresh Mac lippy .

BeachSand (left swatch) is a Creme sheen Limited Edition shade from the Naturally Collection , this is the one I am wearing above . When this collection came out I was so excited because the nude colours were perfect for me and this lipstick gave me my fix . . . I love it . I would of brought The Perfect Day also but sadly it was out of stock and Mac customer service had no interest in finding one for me , which really disappointed me because Mac are one of my most loved brands and I do sometimes get left feeling a little dishearten by their staff .

HoneyLove (right swatch) is a Matt shade I have had my eye on for awhile again because it is quite a nude colour and I was placing an order online and thought why not add it to my basket ? Yet another nude .

Livin' La Vida Loca

A little teaser has been released by Mac for the new Viva Glam Campaign for 2012 . Nicki & Ricky will be taking over from Lady GaGa , who brought us Viva Glam GaGa this year . Nicki is no strange to Mac , she brought us 'Pink Friday' last year when realising her Pink Friday album . Pink friday was very much limited edition , with these lippies being sold over four Fridays only . I sat at 11.50pm on a Thursday night to order mine , minutes after placing my order , the website crashed and when it was available again the lipstick was out of stock . They are still available now on eBay but mostly at triple the price ! We are all very much sat on the edge of our chairs for this one . . .

Long Time . No See .

So I am truly sorry for the lack of posts over the last week or so . I have excuses though . Works has been super SUPER busy , I've been out & about opening a new store and I AM EXHAUSTED although it has all been totally worth it .

But my holiday is coming around thick and fast with under a week to go , me and the fella are counting down those days . The plan . . . 1. Thursday hit my cousins wedding , where the weather better stay bright and I better remember to take lots of pictures of all the beautiful people ! Then plan 2. Friday fly away to Cyprus for a week , no plans really , just packed cases . The lack of organization here is madness . I have just got my passport back , I have only one bikini and not even any sun lotion .

I did do a little shop on Saturday in Norwich and picked up a few bits .

How excited are all you MAC lovers huh ? ! 

Yes I have just spotted that MAC have launched their Semi Precious Collection online for the UK the same day as it launched in the US . And yes I am jumping around going doolally , you know you are too . Thought I was going to have to wait awhile to purchase but maybe not .
