Glossybox The Harrods Edition

So after Februarys Glossybox we were promised a "Mystery Box" .  Sadly the mystery was outed when Glossybox held an event for bloggers to reveal what the fuss was all about , only thing was once these boxes were handed out pictures began to appear showing us all what the box contained . I no personally I love the feeling of the surprise when I first open my monthly box and try to avoid other bloggers posts about their box's until mine has arrived .
 

Anyway on to what I thought of this mystery box . I do like all the products , they are all great . The Molton Brown shower gel smells lush and I'll be using it asap but £18 for this product full size is mental . The YSL serum is also real yum and pure luxury but £80 for 50ml is even more mental . With the "normal" Glossybox I would usually probably buy a sample I like but with this Harrods Edition I sadly wouldn't purchase any , only due to the price of the full size products , other than that I think it is an amazing effort put in by the Glossybox team , Thank you .

Confused ? ? ?  Is this the official  March box ? ? ? As it was delivered earlier than normal and I was under the impression it was some sort of extra ? ? ?

February GlossyBox

It is that time of the month again . . . GlossyBox ! Ooh not much to say really as I don't know what to think this month's box ? I feel bad saying so as I usually love what I recieve but this month I was not that impressed . I suppose after the last few boxes we recieved over Christmas and valentines I feel a little let down by what was in this months box . The products are good but I am more of a makeup fan if I am honest , thats the luck of the draw . Ahh well there is always next month to look forward to .

The First GlossyBox Of 2012

Wow after a long wait the first GlossyBox of 2012 is here . It has been so long since I've posted a GlossyBox post , sorry . Well this time we have been treated to a bright pink box for this Valentines themed box . . . I think I am more excited about the box to be honest . I love the way everytime you open a fresh GlossyBox you get a whiff of something from within the box , my smells like lavender . We also got a little sweet treat , a yummy piece of rock with GlossyBox running throught the middle . I find I always pick one product from each box and fall in love with it so my Januarys Box Favourite is Mural Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer - Dewy Finish . I love using different primers from different things . My skin is always matt so this Spring/Summer I am going to aim for a more dewy glow .

This is one of them nosey posts we all love , it's our guilty pleasure . So the above are lots of the products I horde in my bedroom/WC/Toilet/Shower . I have so very many shampoos and conditioners as I have a thing about washing my hair with a different product everyday because of build up on my roots ! Eww .  Either way you can you can never have enough bottles in your shower , you need them all there incase one bottle runs out . . . keep supplies high .

My Top Three 

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes This is an super amazing product for us with blonde hair wanting to remove any brassy , canary tones . I'd recommend this to every blonde ! It pulls out all those yucky unwanted tones and with a few washes makes your hair whiter and white . Try it and you'll see the beautiful effects . With over use though your hair will tinge purple .

Pear's Soap My mother used to buy this all the time when I was a kid . I would wash my hand in amazement at this transparent bar . Now as an adult I spotted it the other month in Tesco and picked it up to see if it was as good as I remembered . IT'S BETTER . Nothing leaves my skin feeling as clean as when I have used this soap . I use it everyday but once/twice a week I use my grapefruit scrub to remove any dead skin . Also it's only 50p, you can't go wrong . (if you get the chance to try the Soft Clean by Estee Lauder worship it as it's pure heaven , I can't put into words how much my face loved it BUT it's £20 a bottle

Soap & Glory Flake Way If you use this then you'll know what I am on about . . . it's luxury . It's aimed to removed dead skin from your pins leaving them smooth and smelling yummy . I like to use this when I am about to shave my legs because it removed all flakey skin before you remove all hair . I also have a little scrub just before I am about to fake tan .

 Mmm lazy Sunday . . . all day in bed with my laptop . All I intend to do is post , post & post and watch F·R·I·E·N·D·S ! As you'll see I did get up to paint my nails though . The BabyDoll polish was another goody from a previous Glossy Box . A massive dislike for us who love wearing a rainbow array of nail colours throughout the week is the drying time of polish , do you ever paint your nails in the late evening and wake up in the morning with the print of your duvet on each finger ? Annoying . . . & Smudging , breaks your heart after all that hard work . I am currently typing this like a total spazz because my loaded layers of colour are still a tad tacky . Hope you like them : ]

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle

This was one of the products I received in , I think it was my Glossy Box in November ? Or maybe December ? December it was . Thank You Glossy Box . Anyway I would have never of picked this up if I had seen it in a store and purchase it but as it was just sitting on my desk looking rather sorry for it's self and my toes were at the time naked , I thought I'd give it a quickie to see what it was like on . WOW , I think I applied two - three coats and it looks AWESOME ! I reckon it looks more like a glittery gel when it's on which is a lovely little bonus . For a full size bottle it is like £16 which is not to bad for what you are getting . I do usually use OPI polishes but I may of found a new love .

GlossyBox Swaps

 

After looking through many blogs at Glossybox posts , I have noticed people not being impressed with some of the contents they receive each month , but then other people loving it . Mainly because different boxes contain different bits and pieces .

May I suggest a GlossyBox swap . Where people swap the contents from their boxes ? Be it just a swap of colour or the whole sample .

Feel free to comment below advertising your unwanted samples . Or maybe advertise on your own page .

I might post something like this each month after we have recieved our monthly GlossyBox , depending on if anyone likes the idea .

My First GlossyBox

Finally my first GlossyBox is here . It arrived this morning in the post .

I was completely gob smacked when I opened the package to find THREE full size samples , although it does state 'The products you recieve this month pack quite a punch... Please do remember that GlossyBox is a Luxury sample and product miniature subscription service. Whenever possible, we are happy to place full-size in GlossyBox. We hope you appreciate it when you recieve them, with expecting it to be a regular feature.'

I did see from a few blogs that other boxes contained differend samples but by the same brand .
