Let the sunshine As it had been so yummy sunny the last few days me and my beautiful cousin Chels went and done some light shopping yesterday (and walked the dog) because we hadn't hung out much since she'd been back from working abroad . We got coffees at Starbucks and strolled about window shopping , trying on stuff we have no intention of buying . Bargain of the day ! ! ! I got my other half a pair of jammy bottoms from Topman for £1 ! So chuffed with them : ] When are Topshop going into Mid Season sale ? Because everyone else seems to be already marking down . Anyone got a super bargain yet ?
The Chanel counter girl So we hit the Chanel counter to see what beautiful foundations they had to offer and shockingly for once it was a pleasant experience . We were able to browse and talk to the girl behind the counter
without being pushed and shoved into trying a lot of expensive stuff we
didn't want (want but can't afford) . We were both matched up to the lush Perfection Lumiere and sent off with a good size tester to see what we thought . Tip & Hint this is what will make me go back when I eventually want to buy a full size bottle .Through the power of Twitter I informed @Debenhams of this great customer service and apparently they are going to pass this on to the store I visited . Super Chanel girl ! Which Chanel foundation would you recommend ?
Stupid Starbucks My super happy *I've got a day off and I am spending it shopping* mood was dampened by being told in Starbucks to put my camera away as you are not allowed to take pictures in their branches . . . what the fudge ? It actually really ticked me off because I was doing no harm and the girl wasn't terribly polite when she told me . AND they didn't ask my name , which was a tad excited about . I won't be using that particular branch anymore ! Also for the record the other branch of Starbucks in the town are bloody amazing 100% of the time . Do I avoid and try Costa instead ?
Petrol Your thoughts ? What the heck happened ? Panic has spend through the country, with people queueing at all hours of the day & night . I could not believe the amount of stations we saw when we were out with queues up to 20 cars long and some stations run dry by panic stricken motorists . One women has even managed to set herself on fire transferring petrol from one container to another . Massive tax scam ? yes ! What is everyone thinking ? What is the currently petrol level in your car ? Did you fill up ?
